Peru Chanchamayo 1000g
Peru Chanchamayo
What do you associate with Peru? Probably with mountains or jungle. That's how it's shown in movies. However, there's not a bit of truth in it because it's mainly a desert country. Also important here is the fact that you can do really surprising things in Peru. One of them is skiing... on sand. It's one of the must-do activities for every tourist. Just like tasting Peruvian coffee.
Peruvian coffee at your fingertips
Peru is far from Poland. It's much easier to order real coffee from Peru at our Gdańsk Coffee Roastery. We specifically recommend Peru Chanchamayo. It's an amazing blend of several coffee varieties: Catura, Typica, Pache, Bourbon. Thanks to this blend, the coffee after brewing is simultaneously mild and slightly acidic. You can taste hints of caramel in it.
Peru Chanchamayo coffee is grown at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level and processed using the wet method. This processing method involves removing the coffee cherries' skin in a special water mill.
As the name suggests, it comes from the Chanchamayo region. It's known for coffee grown using organic methods by local farmers. It's then stored in farmers' cooperatives.
We recommend Peru Chanchamayo coffee to you if you want to momentarily transport yourself to a tropical jungle, see the Andes, or feel the hot desert sand under your feet. Only in your imagination. However, the coffee we import from there and its taste are very tangible. Definitely give it a try! You won't regret it!
